I have been a part of the technology and software industry for almost 10 years now - in various roles such as Software Engineer, Research Consultant (at Gartner) and Product Management. 

These roles have given me a chance to work on unique challenges and launch numerous complex software and business products. I believe this varied experience will be very relevant if I were given the opportunity to judge at Brandon Hall awards. 

In my current role at Microsoft, I'm a part of the the OneDrive SharePoint team. 

I'm leading the deployment of a product which is very crucial to the success of Microsoft and its public image, because it affects more than 550 million OneDrive consumer users and a large number of enterprise users too. As a Senior Product manager, I have to lead and work with various Product managers, engineers, legal and Sales folks. 

It is unchartered territory even for Microsoft and the complexity of the challenge is what keeps my job exciting and gets me out of bed every morning! 

Ashlesha leads a global product team at Amazon Music that builds music experiences on Alexa and Amazon Music apps (web, iOS, Android) for millions of customers across 45+ countries. Ashlesha leads her product team to craft music experiences ranging from very specific and niche requests (try "Alexa, play some French rap from the '90s") to vague ones (try "Alexa, play something good") on Alexa. Her team also drives the discovery of music that is new to customers, from forgotten favorites and undiscovered gems by your favorite artists to new releases, across all voice and visual experiences. Her product launches have generated positive PR for Amazon Music in leading publications like VentureBeat, TechCrunch, Android Central, VoiceBot.ai, and more. She has filed 2 patents in the area of AI application to voice assistants and is also on the editorial board for multiple AI-related scholarly journals.

This data includes hundreds of millions of records. Combining all international markets there is around 400 million records of customer data(400 million customers). Once this data is ingested: Implement matching algorithm on the ingested sources by customer matching of profile elements :Name, address, Phone number, physical address and email address of customer and implement confidence score. For example: We are confident that the customer is matching up to 80% and 90% etc.., based on their profile elements such as name, address, phone number, email using Machine learning model. Once matching is complete: Perform data science activities by segmenting customer data, data analytics activities to perform targeted marketing of customers via SMS, Email and App notifications 
 
Use cases for customer data for Walmart: 
 
--Personalization: Analyzing customer data creating more personalized marketing campaigns, product recommendations and customer service interactions.
