Hina Gandhi is a passionate and results-driven Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications. She holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. 

 

Hina has a proven track record of delivering impactful engineering solutions, including transforming monolithic architectures into cloud-native microservices, optimizing big data pipelines, and implementing cost-efficient, scalable systems. Her expertise spans a diverse set of technologies, including Java, Scala, Spark, Kotlin, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and more. 

 

Currently at Cisco Systems, Hina leads end-to-end engineering efforts for risk-based vulnerability management software. She has significantly improved system performance and memory efficiency while driving innovation in cloud-based solutions. Previously, at VMware, she built robust data pipelines, reduced processing times significantly and developed tools to optimize cloud costs earning multiple awards for her outstanding contributions. 

 

Outside of work, Hina is dedicated to mentoring aspiring engineers and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies to solve complex challenges effectively.
