Hemant has rich & varied experience of 30+ years in Technology, Business Process Services, Clinical Research and Culture Transformation across many industry verticals. His career spans an interesting mix of roles as an MD, CEO, COO, CTO, CIO and VP in small, medium & large global corporations and also as an Angel Investor, Advisor, Coach and Mentor for startups. Having lived and worked in 10 different cities across US and India, he has a deep understanding of global workplace cultures. 

Hemant is the CEO & Co-founder of VisualBoxx, a niche business consulting firm. VisualBoxx has specialized offerings in the areas of Leadership, Digital, Sustainability, Capability, Creatives and Culture Transformation to infuse the X-factor in their clients’ businesses. 

In his last assignment at Writer Corporation, he led a team of group-level CHRO, CIO, CMO, Head of Business Transformation & Excellence, and Sustainability to drive business transformation using interventions in people, process, technology and culture. Previously, as the Global Head of Life Sciences Digital Operations at Cognizant, he led a global team of 5500+ Life Sciences practitioners and doctors based in 20 cities across the world, where he was responsible for delivering business value and digital transformation at leading global pharmaceuticals & medical devices firms. Earlier, as Managing Director – India at LRN, a Global Culture Transformation organization focused on Ethics & Compliance, he led a mission to help people “Do the Right Things”. As a Certified Executive Coach, TEAM Coach and Master Practitioner for Global Leadership Assessment (GLA360) certified by World’s #1 Coach, Marshall Goldsmith, he follows a stakeholder-centered coaching process to bring in measurable changes in leadership behaviors. 

Hemant is an Electrical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
