Gorkem Meral Ozturk, HR Organizational Development Manager, Acıbadem Healthcare Group

Gorkem has 13 years of experience in training and development field in Banking, Retail and Healtcare sectors.  

She graduated from Istanbul University in Business Administration Department. When she was a university student in 2007, she started her career in Garanti Bank. Then she completed her Pre-Master and Master Degree in Business Administration in the UK at University of Wales (UWIC). She lived in the UK for 3 years and during this period she took part in many projects and had the opportunity to do research on companies and had certificates about training, development and management fields. 

Then she continued her career in retail sector in training and development department. After 3 years, she started to work in Acıbadem Healthcare Group which is the part of world’s second largest healthcare chain and has 25.000 employees. 

In 13 years, she built her expertise around instructional design, program development and management (leadership development programs, certification programs, management trainee programs), talent management, measuring training programs’ results (ROI), e-learning, mentoring, corporate university. 

Gorkem led her team to win Brandon Hall Group-HCM “Best Certification”- Gold Award in 2015, “Best Advance in Leadership Development”- Gold award in 2020 and win the awards from other award platforms with their other training & career management programs.
