I am a Senior Software Engineer at DISTek Integration, specializing in model-based software development with MATLAB and Simulink to design and test advanced applications for autonomous mining trucks. With over 13 years of experience in embedded software development, I have honed my skills working across the automotive and off-highway industries, focusing on software for electronic control units (ECUs).
My career includes significant contributions to the automotive industry during my time at Aptiv, where I developed software for Body Control Modules (BCMs), ensuring seamless integration of critical vehicle functions. Additionally, I bring expertise in Embedded C, Model-Based engineering, Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) real-time testing, Jenkins, CAN protocol, Fault Injection, vehicle diagnostics and AUTOSAR. Known for solving complex engineering challenges, I approach problems with a proactive and analytical mindset to deliver reliable solutions.
Beyond industry roles, I served as a Computer Science Fellow at Open Avenues Foundation, where I shared my knowledge and skills to empower the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
During my time as a Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), I played a key role in projects focused on nuclear power applications, which were critically important to the U.S. Department of Energy. These initiatives included property-based fault injection and systematic software testing of critical embedded devices, ensuring safety and reliability in safety critical digital I&C systems.
I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. My passion lies in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build dependable, high-performance systems that shape the future of engineering.
